Warm Nest for Girls at Risk
The Warm Nest-for-Girls is a facility for teenage girls, who are at risk. Today, girls who are experiencing problems at home, socially or within their school environment have nowhere to go. Our goal is to create a daily care facility, within the community, that will provide the counseling and treatment that these girls need.
The warm nest-for-girls provides daily support and guidance. The girls experience positive group cooperation, get hands-on home economic skills and assume responsibility for their community.
The Goals:
-
Provide basic needs: a hot meal, shelter, warm environment during the afternoon and evening hours.
-
Create an alternative home, enabling the girls to stay within their community and avoid loitering.
-
Provide individual and group therapy from a professional team.
-
Support and help with homework assignments
-
Offer guidance and education on a wide variety of personal hygiene, health, etc.
