and I wanted to do something meaningful that will also include my love for soccer"
Zach Schneider is a 13 year old from Milwaukee. One of his favorite activities was after-school soccer. When Zach reached his Bar-Mitzvah age, he decided to work together with the Netanya Foundation to support Titi's Project (Miss Israel 2013) by providing an after-school soccer program for children in Netanya. With his dedication and generosity, Zach established his very own soccer team in Netanya.
On the last week of December 2015, Zach arrived for a visit in Netanya and played in a soccer tournament with his team, which includes 25 children aged 13-15. Team coach, Ami Taganya who grew up in this neighborhood and is very excited to train Zach's team. Yuval Baruch (13 years old): "It's great that we have sports activities in the neighborhood and something to do after school". Zach participated in the tournament between two neighborhoods: Azorim and Dora. At the end of the tournament, Zach gave all the kids medals and trophies to the tournament winners from Dora neighborhood.
"realized that Netanya offered me a great opportunity for my Mitzvah Project. I chose this project, for children from the Ethiopian community which I can support for years. This is a great way to contribute and help and strengthen my connection to Israel".
